The Painful Shoulder – learn to treat shoulder pain with Adam Meakins
The Painful Shoulder is an engaging two-day course suitable for all physiotherapists regardless of professional title or level of experience. The course aims to provide participants with a patient-centered, practical, and evidence-based approach to the assessment and management of painful shoulder conditions.
This course builds confidence in applying simple principles effectively, demonstrating that doing the basics well is both effective and supported by current research. It also challenges overly complicated and unnecessary assessment and treatment methods, while addressing common misconceptions related to shoulder function.
Rather than promising quick fixes or miracle cures, the course focuses on an honest and pragmatic approach, offering practical ideas that can be implemented immediately in the rehabilitation of patients with shoulder pain.
